First Day at Tech

So David was on campus at Tech early, but he went to the bookstore and bought his books, got a shot, and was measured for his uniform. He said there are 45 in his class with 7 males. I'm glad he's not the only one! We knew the demographics would be skewed. Then he had his CPR class, which was scheduled from 1-5, but he was done and home by 3-something, I believe. It was not quite as he expected, I think.

I don't know anything about Joshua's IMOT today. I should get to check in with Karl when I take him in the morning.

I'm taking my gym bag to go to another (new to me) group exercise class tomorrow.

Tomorrow at lunch is our Back to School Social for the accounting majors. It's from 11-1, but I'm in class from 9:30-12:15 -- but I'll go after I get out of class.

I think Jayden's first two days have gone well. She did great yesterday. She had a long day, from 7:45 until 4:45, almost the whole time the center is open. Today she was there from about 8:15-3:45. She cried when I took her this morning. Not bad, but it's unusual for her to cry at all. I think she had a good day, though. Something strange: she wouldn't eat her cheese I sent for her lunch. She wouldn't eat the cheese I put on her plate last night at supper, either. This is the same girl who I couldn't keep out of the cheese Sunday night (and usually can't). I'm not sure what's up there....

I'm putting new pictures on Shutterfly; mostly of birthdays.

Comments:
David--you and I don't have even one of the same books. Go figure! I'd love to hear how your first semester is set up! So no class on this first day, I take it? Keep me informed! I would really like to hear how things are going with you. We go to our first off-site clinical next Wednesday (the 12th) at the nursing home. I'll let you know how it goes!
You can do this!
Love you all,
Lad
