Hong Kong - Dec 9 (2)
Oh, I did want to tell you this that I think is pretty neat: we get to watch the evening news, on CBS or ABC, in the mornings -- same as if we were at home. And tonight some movies are coming on: Men in Black II and The Day After Tomorrow. We may try to have us a movie-date. I'd like to see The Nativity Story while we're here, but we'll have to find out if it's playing anywhere in English. I sent Candy an email about it asking her if she could help me find out if we could see it in English. I'm also eager to get some Christmas pictures, soon. Dr. Hodge told me today we should see a lot of fireworks here, especially as it gets closer to the holidays. I wonder if we'll be able to see them here from the apartment or if we'll have to get out to see them? Either way, that's pretty neat. Apparently there's a light show at nights with the buildings on the river, I think on the Kowloon side; I don't know the details yet but that's something I would like to see. I got online last night to check on Disneyland and Ocean Park again. Disneyland would cost us about $125US for one day -- that's for 3 tickets, because Jayden is free. Ocean Park is like Sea World and is about half the cost of Disneyland. It's a local park, which would be nice to support; we'll just have to see how it goes and what we want to do as it gets closer. I know I would like to do at least one of those, as much for us (me?) as for the kids. I know Jayden is very young, but I think she would still enjoy looking at all the neat sights. More later, aleecia
