Hibbets' Happenings

Oh! I forgot about this. This is a little thing I'm excited about. From the beginning I've thought I would like to get a little nativity set for Jayden, one that she could play with, but we'd also know it came from the Christmas we spent in Hong Kong. Well, of all the things people on the street handed us and tried to hand us today, one thing we made it home with was a Toys R Us magazine/sale paper, and right there on the first page is a nativity playset, I think exactly what I wanted. We ran out of energy to go to Toys R Us today, even though we walked very close to two of them, but I guess we'll be going soon! Maybe Monday, I guess. I'm pretty much caught up on laundry for now. There is a tiny combination washer/dryer (as in, one machine that does both) here in the apartment. You can't wash very much at a time. So even with us four, we have to keep that machine running. On top of that, even though the dryer does work, poor thing, after completing a two-hour cycle we still have to hang the clothes up to finish drying. Because of that I try to catch it and not go through a full drying cycle, since I know I'll have to hang up the clothes regardless. I have to at least let it start the drying cycle or they're too wet. For my next load, I'm going to see if I can put three pairs of jeans in at the same time or if that's asking too much. It very well may be!
