Hong Kong 5

Good morning! (It's 9:30am Tuesday for us.) Several have asked about the weather here. It's been very nice -- sunny and pleasant, not warm or cold. Probably about 60s, I would think. It hasn't rained since we've been here. It tends to stay a little hazy, it seems, but I guess that's from being on the water. We're meeting the Shue Yan staff for lunch (real Chinese food!) at 12:30. At some point today we need to go back to the store for -- you guessed it -- water. I don't know if we'll all try to go or not. Right now Jayden is sleeping, so a lot of it depends on her. We're kind of hoping we can go to Causeway Bay after lunch. I've sent Candy an email about it to see what she suggests, and I guess we'll see what she says and take it from there. I didn't get much sleep last night. I'm wondering if I should try to lay down and rest. It's so hard to know what's the best thing to do to help get on a good sleep schedule in this new time. Maybe I'll start on some reading, and if I end up falling asleep, I won't let it bother me. I'm thinking I might like to try out the Pizza Hut soon. We had a good breakfast this morning of oatmeal, a boiled egg, and some toast, and Jayden and I shared a banana. We're almost out of the oatmeal we brought and can only buy quick oats here. I did find some rice recipes online last night which I figure is an idea worth trying out. We have some beans on to soak (we're almost out of those, too), we still have a meal of leftovers from the good stir-fry David made plus everything we need to make more except broccoli, if we wanted that. I guess I should add broccoli to my shopping list. We have 3 sweet potatoes left that we brought with us. We still have a salmon steak that David bought at the Park n Shop and some chicken still left in the freezer, too. So we're okay on meals in the short run. Once we get the blender for Joshua I'll probably need to buy some things that can be easily pureed up for him. Aleecia
