Hong Kong 11
Last night when we were walking around, hungry, looking for a place to eat, we saw a German restaurant. I'm not sure I've ever had German food, like at a German restaurant. But we kept walking and ended up finding The Spaghetti House. I'm eager to try all kinds of cuisine while we're here. We saw several McD, and Pizza Hut (I do want to try Pizza Hut while we're here), and a TGIFriday's. The other night I saw a KFC, and I took the picture of the Outback Steakhouse (it was right next to the Indonesian restaurant where we ended up eating). So far I haven't seen any kind of Mexican food. I've seen Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Indonesian, Cantonese, German, Italian, American -- maybe that's all. Oh, I have seen French, at least a French bakery. Maybe not a full French restaurant. It was across the street from us, but I sure wanted to check it out and reminisce about Paris! I loved shopping at the boulangerie in Paris. Apparently I really am a bread person. I've really had Starbucks on my mind, too. At home I'm not a Starbucks person -- a coffee person, yes, but not Starbucks. Maybe it's something about being away and feeling an urge to indulge in something I usually won't spend money on. Let's see, there was something else.... I'm not remembering now. I guess when I do I'll just add another post! (Works for me.)
